I'm writing this review after my second visit here. I have written other 5-star reviews for mechanical facilities, but this place has set the bar to a whole new level. I've moved around a few times in the last few years, so I've been going to different places for my oil changes, brakes, tires, and other car care. This is a one stop shop for tires, full-service mechanic, car wash and even a gas station all on one lot. My first time here I was a little lost and just came in for an oil change. Everyone was so friendly, that instead of just pointing to a place, they walked me directly to where I needed to go. They told me about coupons online and even included a free car wash with my oil change. Score! My second time in, I met with Andrew about concerns I had. This car is my baby and it's not something I plan on letting go soon, so I try to take care of it as best as possible. Andrew was extremely knowledgeable. He took the time to explain in detail how everything works and why I may be hearing certain noises. He assured me my car was in great condition and pointed out issues that may just be starting but are not something I have to take care of yet. I can certainly appreciate an honest person. Most places would have just tried to get money out of me and would have probably recommended unnecessary work. I'm seriously giving this guy major kudos on his patience with me, knowledge and ability to explain things that I'm sure are very complicated but were addressed in a way I could easily understand. I work in healthcare as a manager and although they are very different fields, one thing that is the same is the way we are supposed to treat people. He is the type of person who I would love to have on my team. Oh, and did I mention that this inspection was completely free?? Wow! I wanted to tip him because that is how happy I was at the end but did not bring cash, so I hope this gives him the recognition he deserves. Overall, I've been here early each time and this place is already busy but don't let that scare you off. I've never had a long wait and they provide snacks, coffee, WIFI, TV, magazine and cell phone charging stations while you wait. I am very, very, impressed with the entire operations of it all. They have already won my trust and I will be coming back for my future needs. I even referred someone here who also had a great experience and will be coming back. Great job Downey Car Care Center!
