Awesome Service, found the problem right away and were honest about the problem. My car wouldn’t start and was I afraid it was the alternator but it turned out to be a worn out fuse. Other shops would have exaggerated the problem but Downey car care said it was a quick fix, and my car worked as good as new afterwards. Earned my trust and gave me a complimentary car wash afterwards!!

Update: I went for a tire replacement and was helped by Mike C. He was professional, timely and super helpful. This is the service I’m used to! I really appreciated him Giving me a great professional experience. Changed my rating to a 5. Past review: I really love this place but on9/2/2021 (arrived around 12:15 I had a bad experience. I had to leave without getting my oil change ! I was checked in at 12:23 (according to the check in text on my phone) and I asked the individual checking me in if my car could be done by 1 (since I had to go back to work ) to which she responded “of course. It’ll be fast”. Then she spent about 5-6 minutes trying to convince me to get a synthetic oil change. To which I kept insisting NO. She must have asked me like 7 times (no exaggeration) . She was clearly upset that I did not want the upgraded oil change. Then I’m waiting for my car to be serviced in waiting room and I step out at 12:55 and my car hadn’t even been started. I left without an oil change because the time I was told I would be done they had not even started. I really like this place but the service I received yesterday was not good.

The experience at the shop was very good. I had received an estimate on this repair from a previous visit. I presented the estimate and checked my car in no time. They provided me with a Uber to get home since the job ( replacinging my struts front and back) would take all day. They not only honered the estimate it was a $ 100 cheaper and I got a free carwash. If you want a hassle- free , basically honest repair experience,I would recommend this shop. I will be bringing my car back whenever I need a repair or oil change.
