They answered all my questions in regards to changing transmission oils on both my sealed Toyota transmissions. I was hesitant since it involves a special machine, but they assured me it would be done just like the dealer does it, but for almost half what the dealers quoted me. I'll be coming here from now on. I brought my car in to have them diagnose an issue and right away Jorge was very professional. After I left I got a text message letting me know they were looking at my car. I appreciated this feature. To make a long story short I got my car fixed for a really good price. Like most people I’m not very trusting of mechanics because I’ve been burned before but they were very honest. They’ve earned my business and deserve yours. Thanks Jorge, you’re a stand up guy.

When I arrived I parked and it was clear to someone that worked there I was confused and didn’t know where to go. They came over and offered assistance and told me which spot I should take my car. (After he pointed it out it was very clear where I was suppose to go because there was a nice big sign with arrows that said oil change. Quarantine is getting to me y’all). Someone else gave me a quote which was about 70 bucks for synthetic blend if I recall correctly(I drive a 2017 civic. Don’t get one AC is TRASH and Honda doesn’t wanna pay for it) same guy came to the waiting room with my air filter to show me how dirty it was and asked if I wanted it changed for 18 dollars and I said yes. When all is said and done my experience was positive. I got there as soon as they opened. A few other people where there but I was in and out in about an hour.

I called Downey Car Care and spoke with Mike, I explained the situation and he told me come on in, we’ll take care of you. I dropped my car off, he told me it would take around 2 1/2 hours. I believe it was a little under that time frame. It’s like they want to keep the customers happy so they don’t lag and just have your car sitting there. The prices are great and so is the work. I usually take my car to the dealer for everything but decided to give them a chance. Thank you Mike and Downey Car Care
